Do you know who Ben Bronfman is? He sang and played guitar in a punk band until they parted ways in 2007. Don’t worry, if you’d have came up to me on the street and name dropped this guy, I’d probably just walk away, scratching my chin. That was until Bronfman’s latest project came to my attention. Currently working under the pseudonym Teachers; Bronfman co-produced the Kanye West hit, ‘Monsters‘. Oh, and he’s also engaged to M.I.A. So this got my attention and then I realised he’d produced that smashingly great track, ‘Gold‘ earlier on in the year. He also produced a most dopest of dope remix of the aforementioned Kanye single; featuring eerie guitars and tribal backbeat drums. This track has been around for some time now and I wish I’d caught onto it earlier on, but I feel it would be an injustice not to share it with those who haven’t yet be schooled by Teachers.
