Crtl x, Crtl c.

Cut Impala have released a new single… I mean Tame Copy.

Start over…

Cut Copy have released a new single.

Heavily inspired by the trendy new ‘post-modern 60′s brit-pop‘ the song could very well be a Tame Impala B-Side. It has every cliche imaginable, Multi-layered vocal harmonies, synthesized organs, hand claps and even a very camp ‘Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Wooh!’ chant.

Other than the change that we have seen from a proven Cut Copy formula, the song has some strong aspects. The vocal bridge heavily filtered through flanger and reverb did remind me of the better parts of the new Midnight Juggernaut album, I’m just not sure if this song has got me craving a new Cut Copy Album.

Lets play this one out.

Cut Copy – Where I’m Going (320)

merci.
